Optimal production environment for freelance creators
COVO is a shared office and co-working space operated by the editorial production company “Word Inc.” COVO was established to provide freelancers and small creative businesses with an optimal production environment and to work together to develop Kyoto’s creative industry.
In addition to providing the facilities that creators may need, we aim to become a “secret base for creators” that will serve as a platform for expanding the network of cooperation and collaboration on the software side as well, and for mutual growth and development.
Full facilities and tools for freelance creators
The MFPs include the image PRESS C265, a high quality printer manufactured by Canon Inc. that delivers color representation close to that of offset printing, and the image PROGRAF GP-2000, a large format printer that can handle A1 size prints as well as A3 size prints. The office is equipped with NURO Biz, a high-speed Internet connection service for corporate clients, as well as UTM and Anti Spreader to ensure security. We plan to further enhance the facilities in the future.
The best plan for your style of use
COVO offers four plans: a convenient “Drop-in Plan,” a “Virtual Office Plan” that allows you to use an address, a “Booth Plan” for one person, and a “Private Office Plan” for a completely private space. You can also choose from a combination of options to create an environment that best suits your work style.

COVO aims to support creators’ businesses not only from the hardware side but also from the software side. We support the development and growth of freelancers and small businesses through mutual production cooperation as the operating company, Word Inc., holding study sessions to improve management and marketing skills, exchange meetings with creators in different categories, and introductions to various experts.
